TO ACHIEVE HIGH BIDERECTIONAL UNIDIRECTIONAL THROUGHPUT

Satellite communications specialist Newtec has demonstrated 372Mb/s bidirectional throughput and 313Mb/s unidirectional throughput over a 72Hhz Intelsat Ku-transponder, the company reports.
During the test an Intelsat 72MHz Ku band transponder was saturated using Newtec’s latest modem technology and a 4.5m antenna. The result using wideband, Clean Channel Technology (CCT) and Newtec’s Equalink technologies was 313Mb/s throughput.
The test did not include the use of the upcoming DVB-S2 modulation and coding extensions that Newtec’s 200-head engineering team is working on.
When adding a return carrier within the same transponder and Newtec’s second-generation Bandwidth Canceller (ZN781), 372Mb/s was reached.

LET US DISCUSS HOWTO CONNECT BROADCAST VIDEO UNIT

NOW we are going to discuss about how to connect a camera and its unit for a shoot

main requirements are

3.optical patch panel
4.ccu adapter
5.ccu
6.ccu cable
7.ccu adapter
8. moniter
9.recorder

We have to use professional broadcast camera for capturing the image. SONY gives lot of camera for broadcasting purpose. The output of the camera may be SDI or HD(video formats)instead of connecting direct camera out to CCU we are proffering optical cable for transmission of video signal so we can reduce the transmission loss. Camera Adapter convert the SDI video signal into optical fiber mode for transmission. and it is terminated to the optical patch panel..

Above we discussed connection to get the video signal from the CAMERA . Now we are going to discus about connections for camera control units. fiber output from the patch panel again again connected to an ADAPTER using CCU cable we can connect both ADAPTER and CCU. We can use remote for CCU for user convenience. then the output of CCU is connected to recorder for recording purpose . If we are using Multi cam shoot then the CCU out is connected to video switcher

This is the place which all the production of sports match conducted. the main thing that happen here is processing of video and audio from different place of the stadium.graphics are mixed to this video for more understanding for eg- if we are doing a cricket match live with the help of sports camera we can get cricket game visual,with the help of mic we get the audio of calumniators,audience sounds...these audio video,score as a graphics are mixed together with the help of visual mixers.. final video of that contain video,audio,graphics are broadcast ed using satellite teleport....
